# Equipment

In-game, players kit out their avatars with various gear, including armor and weapons like enchanted breastplates or mythic swords. Equipment deepens gameplay by adding a strategic layer to every run, letting players shape builds around different strengths and tactics. Damaged gear can be repaired at the Forge to restore it to full power and keep your loadout battle-ready. Any surplus equipment can be traded for Runes, giving extra value to every find.
